On the morning of November 11th, 2024, my second child came into the world—into my hands. No midwife, no doctors, no medical interventions. Just me, my wife, our toddler, and Leonard the cat.
And yes, this was the plan all along.
It might sound crazy, but it felt natural to us. We trusted her body, her intuition, and each other. We spent months preparing—reading, listening, and visualizing the moment. I knew I’d be the one to deliver our baby, and I was determined to show up fully when the time came.
But no amount of preparation can truly capture the intensity of birth.
That morning, I watched my wife step into her power as she labored, so calm and so focused. My role was clear: stay grounded and hold the space.
I’d spent time visualizing this exact moment—how I’d breathe deeply and stay present no matter what. But when it actually began, it hit me just how much trust she had placed in me.
Trusting me to be there, to hold steady, to catch our baby when the time came.
And when that moment arrived—when Apollo let out his first cry—I felt something move within me. Relief, awe, joy, calm. It was raw. It was primal. And it was fucking perfect.
Why am I sharing this?
Because that day wasn’t just about birth—it was about stepping into a deeper version of myself as a father and a man.
I learned that real leadership isn’t loud or forceful. It’s calm. It’s present. It’s rooted in trust—in others and in yourself.
And yet, I know how easy it is for men to lose that sense of trust in themselves. To get stuck in the grind, feeling disconnected from the life they’ve built. To want something more but not know where to start.
That’s exactly why I do the work I do.
If this resonates, and you’re ready to reconnect with that deeper part of yourself, I’d love to hear from you.
Because sometimes, all it takes is one small step to start creating a life that feels like yours again.
