The Walking Dads Club

The Walking Dads Club is a group for men in West Penwith, Cornwall who want to walk the path of fatherhood with intention, connection, and courage. Whether you’re a new dad, a father of teens, or preparing for the journey ahead—this space is for you.

We meet every two weeks to slow down, breathe, and share the truth of what it means to father in today’s world. This isn’t about getting it perfect. It’s about getting real. You don’t need answers—just a willingness to show up.

Why the Walking Dads Club Exists

Modern fatherhood is no small feat.

We’re asked to be leaders, providers, protectors, nurturers, role models, and calm, steady anchors. To support our partners. To stay strong, but not closed. To be soft, but not weak. And to hold it all together—often without a map, or a tribe.

That’s why The Walking Dads Club was born.

This isn’t therapy. It’s not coaching. It’s not a place to be fixed.

It’s a place to be felt. To be seen. To remember that you’re not walking this road alone.

In a world where so many men feel like they have to carry it all in silence, this is a space for brotherhood, truth, and presence.

What Happens in a Session

Each 2 hour session takes place in Penzance and is guided with care and grounded intention.

We begin with a short breathwork or grounding practice to arrive in the present. Then we move into individual check-ins, group reflection before heading out for a stroll.

We explore real themes, like:

  • The unseen pressures of being a dad
  • Joy, pride, and the quiet wins no one sees
  • Navigating tension, emotion, and change
  • Healing our relationships with our own fathers
  • Vulnerability, strength, legacy, and love

No one’s here to preach or advise. This is about listening deeply, showing up honestly, and walking the path—together.

Who It’s For

The Walking Dads Club is open to all fathers and fathers-to-be. Whether you’re:

  • A brand-new dad navigating identity shifts
  • A father of teens seeking deeper connection
  • A partner working to stay grounded through change
  • A man preparing for fatherhood and wanting to do it right

If you’re committed to showing up for your family—and for yourself—this is your circle.

Why It Matters

When fathers have a space to be seen and heard, we walk taller.

We lead with more clarity, more compassion.

We build bridges where there were gaps—and strengthen the threads that hold our families together.

We become the men our children can trust. Not perfect, but present.

This is Fatherhood—on purpose, with presence, and together.
